Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, received the child Hunaida, the youngest dancer of the people of determination, and her family, at the university administration headquarters in Al-Zaafran Palace, after issuing instructions to treat the child in university hospitals, in response to an appeal by the media, Youssef Al-Husseini, presenter of the Ninth Program broadcast on Channel One on Egyptian TV.
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini welcomed the girl and her family, explaining that everything necessary will be done to treat her in the university hospitals, as well as follow up her condition until full recovery.
After that, the girl and her parents headed to the Training and Development Center at the Faculty of Medicine, where they were received by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the College of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Tarek Youssef, Director of Al-Demerdash Surgical Hospital, Prof. Dr. Hesham Al-Samri, Professor and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, Dr. Tamer Emara, Consultant Neurologist and Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Rehab Abdel Rahman, Assistant Professor of Women and Director of Women's Hospital, Dr. Shaima Ahmed Maher, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Dr. Abdul Rahman Shams Al-Din Ramad, Dr. Radi Youssef, a teacher of brain and nerves, Dr. Yasmine Gamal, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, and Director of the Children's Hospital, studying the case of the girl, Hunayda Mohamed Aziz.
The girl underwent a full eye examination, with examination of the fundus and optic nerve.
