The Dean of the Faculty of Archeology inaugurates the Scientific Forum of the Department of Greco-Roman Archeology

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology at Ain Shams University, opened the scientific forum of the Greco-Roman Archeology Department, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Noha Salem, head of the department council, department professors, members of the supporting body and department students.

The Dean of the Faculty congratulated the students on the end of the academic year, and praised the department's harvest during the academic year in terms of organizing scientific seminars, as well as developing a long-term research plan for the department.

He also discussed with the students of the two divisions that the students will choose from next year: Archeology and Greco-Roman civilization and Greco-Roman language and civilization, which will contribute to the graduation of distinguished cadres from the two divisions.

In the same context, the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs stressed the need for students to take advantage of the summer vacation to learn foreign languages ​​and search for university scholarships offered in their field of study.

Through discussion with the students, they analyzed the pros and cons that accompanied their studies in the first year, noting their desire to organize scientific visits to a number of international museums.

At the end of the forum, Prof. Dr. Noha Salem honoring the members of the department who have recently obtained a PhD, and they are: Dr. Nermin Samir, Dr. Maha Gamal El-Din and Dr. Sarah Sameer.

A number of students were also honored for their outstanding participation in various activities during the academic year: Muhammad Ashraf, Samiha Saeed and Maryam Yakoub.
