Dr.. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued a decision renewing the delegation of Dr. Islam Hamza Abul-Majd, Research Professor at the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for African Affairs and Space Technology.
It is worth noting that Dr. Islam Abu Elmagd is currently the Vice-President of the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, and he has held several positions, including: membership of international and local committees, and he is the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Space by a decision of the Prime Minister, and he also served as the Vice-President of the African Organization for Remote Sensing and the Environment, He served as head of a working group to follow up the implementation of African Union decisions regarding the implementation of the work of the African Space Agency, and as a representative of the African continent in the African-European Committee to support bilateral relations between the European Union and Africa in science, technology and innovation. He is also a member of the United Nations Economic Organization in Africa; To create a unified geographic information system and infrastructure for the continent, in addition to research and service projects for North African countries in marine environmental studies and climate change.
