The Center of Educational Excellence at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), organized the first international conference entitled "Early Childhood Development, Bridging the Gap between Theory and Practice", from 18-19 November 2018 at Al-Zomorda Hotel in Almasa City, Nasr City. This is based on the pioneering role of Ain Shams University in the development and early childhood care as one of the priorities of the national development plan.

Dr. Rasha Kamal, Director of the Center of Educational Excellence added that the conference aims to raise awareness of the concept of early childhood development and identify the most effective and effective ways to attract investments in the field of early childhood development and care.
