The Educational Excellence Center at the Faculty of Education launches a project to develop digital skills for teachers in the neediest areas

Within the framework of the continuous pioneering role played by Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, held the inauguration of the project to develop digital skills for teachers in the most needy areas, which is implemented through the Center for Educational Excellence at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Environment and Society Affairs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty , Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Rashad, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, Dr. Muhammad Farghali, Director of the Center for Educational Excellence, representatives of Ain Shams University, and in the presence of Dr. Bishr in front of the Acting UNESCO Regional Office for Science in the Arab Countries, Ms. Mary Ann, Education Programs Specialist, and Ms. Doaa Hazem, Project Officer, representatives of UNESCO.

         
   
         

The project aims to identify the training needs of teachers in one of the neediest areas with regard to digital skills related to the employment of e-learning and hybrid education in the educational process, with the aim of preparing a comprehensive training program to build and develop teachers’ capacities to employ electronic and hybrid learning tools and means with students in order to keep pace with the knowledge revolution and contemporary technology.

         
   
         

This project comes within the university's and UNESCO's strategy on positive joint cooperation in order to contribute to digital transformation and the implementation of Egypt's Vision 2030.
