The Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, held the second day of the instant literacy exams for all faculties participating in supporting the national literacy project.
The exams were held at the Faculty of Education headquarters under the supervision and guidance of the Dean of the College, Prof. Hazem Rashid, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Community Service and Environmental Development. The exams were followed up and supervised by Dr. Sohaib Tolba, Director of the National Literacy Project Support Unit at the College of Education.
Those exams were conducted under the guidance and general supervision of the Adult Education Center at Ain Shams University through the director of the center, Dr. Islam Al-Saeed. The exams were also attended by Dr. Rania Youssef Mohamed Omar, coordinator of the Faculty of Specific Education, in coordination with the General Authority for Adult Education and Literacy, represented by the director of the Cairo branch, Mrs. Nourhan Ahmed.
In this context, the faculty has been keen to continue holding these exams periodically on Sunday and Wednesday of every week, in order to provide opportunities for students to complete the numbers required of them.
On this day, 97 illiterate people took the exam.
