Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Hala Mushir, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and IBM, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zaki Taha and professors of the article Dr. Salsabil Amin and Dr. Naglaa Fathy, the winning students in the Structured Programming competition were honored for the best project for first year students in the faculty. Twelve teams competed for the first places, and certificates of appreciation and symbolic prizes were awarded from IBM.
The panel of judges consisted of Engineer Ahmed Nabil Gohar from IBM and Dr. Sally Saad is a teacher in the Department of Computer Science at the faculty.
