Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, witnessed the presentation of graduation projects for students of the fourth year of the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Osama El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amr Khalil, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Safaa Sayed Mahmoud, Head of the Education Technology Department, Prof. Dr. Dalia Hussein, head of the Department of Music Education, and a group of faculty members and students
The projects included "the smart board project, the hologram project, the bifurcation project, the system project, the smart camera project, face print, and artificial intelligence and its applications."
His Excellency also witnessed a concert organized by the Department of Music Education at the Faculty of Specific Education, where the ceremony embodied a diverse musical and lyrical painting that combines Arab and Western music, rai singing, authentic Arab music, and playing pieces of international music presented by professional specialists, attended by a specialized audience connoisseur of art in its various forms.
Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud enjoyed the artistic presentation presented by the various artistic teams, stressing his constant keenness to attend such artistic events because of the creative spirit and artistic sophistication that he touches that express the message of art, which aims to raise the level of public taste among students and the public.
He also praised the movement witnessed by the Faculty of Specific Education since the opening of the Talaat Harb Theatre... as the Faculty has recently witnessed strong and creative competitions between the various student teams and their professors, which soon bore fruit with the emergence of new, brilliant talents in every ceremony.
His Eminence announced the launch of a new western choir for Ain Shams University that sings a different color of music and international singing to serve as the third son of the choir of the mother's team, Ain Shams University. The university had previously launched the Spirit of the East choir several years ago, and it has become very popular among students and the outside artistic community, achieving amazing artistic successes... Followed by the birth of an Arab Harmony Choir, which is characterized by presenting the heritage of art in a modern way, and finally a Western choir under the supervision of Dr. Samah Ezz Al Arab.
His Excellency also expressed his great pleasure in reviving the activity of the Specfic Services Center at the Faculty of Specific Education under its new name (Kayan), which was inaugurated last month, which aims to educate and develop artistic musical talents of different ages at the hands of professional specialists from the faculty’s professors, whose first courses received a huge turnout. among the students, achieving tangible successes.
Finally, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, during his speech with the support provided by the management of Banque Misr, thanked Mr. Mohamed El-Etreby (Chairman of Banque Misr) for his continuous support for all university projects in general and the project to renovate the Talaat Harb Pasha theater in particular to serve as a distinguished professional theater comparable to the state’s theaters Which was credited with creating a fine artistic impetus through his distinguished theatrical performances presented on his stage.
He emphasized that the development of theater reflects the communication of generations, as the idea of developing theater began with the former university president, Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, who started the executive procedures with Banque Misr to revive the Talaat Harb theater, and then Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, the current university president, exerted a great effort until the development of the theater was completed to be at the highest level and in record time.
Also Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, praised the efforts of his Excellency, which contributed to the completion of the development of the theater and its proper production with the history and name of Ain Shams University.
It is certain that Ain Shams University is at the level of the five-star evaluation in the international “QS” ranking, with the best specialized professors, and each in his field teaches distinguished students as well, pledging to provide all aspects of support for students to polish all their talents and knowledge, announcing the provision of an encouraging financial reward for all students, professors and workers participants in the ceremony.
The ceremony included a large and varied number of musical segments, as the ceremony began with a lyrical musical segment led by Dr. Samah Ezz Al-Arab, where the chant of Isis was played and sung, then the song (A Sweet Word) by the artist Dalida, followed by a lyrical segment of Rai songs for the Dr. team. Ahmed Abdel Rahman and the participation of d. Marwa Abdel Moneim, where the students interacted with the song “Aisha” by Cheb Khaled, and then the song “Moshit Alia”
Then a musical paragraph on the Qanun instrument played by Dr. Saber Abdel Sattar with a number of students from different teams at the Faculty of Specific Education, and praised Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saud at the level of the students of the law machine, the situation presented by the students, and the classy interaction between the students and their professor.
Prof. Dr. Ayman Ibrahim led a team of students and their teachers presented shows of Arabic music, including “My memories” and a song according to Wedad, composed by the genius artist Baligh Hamdi and sung by Dr. Ayman Ibrahim.
Dr. Yasser Farouk led a group of instrumental music by Serenad Mozart in the scale of Sol Magir, the music of Raafat Al-Hagan and the Rasputin song with a Russian melody, then a paragraph of mandolin solo by Ms. Azza Mohammed Hussein accompanied by Dr. Hani Gamal on piano.
Then Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salem led his students to present a paragraph of Arabic music and singing a variety of religious songs and sang patriotic songs, starting with the song “Ana El Masry”, “Belady Belady”.
