The Department of Communication and Media Sciences at the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University won the Media Creativity Competition, which is organized by the Media and Digital Transformation Foundation, headed by the great journalist and journalist Abdel-Gawad Abu Kab, with a number of distinguished centers.
The participation of the Department of Communication and Media Sciences in the competition comes under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts.
And 5,000 students participated in the competition, representing 114 Egyptian, Arab and African universities and educational institutions
Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Acting Dean of the Faculty, praised the competition and its organizers, she also congratulated Prof. Dr. Dina Abu Zaid, head of the department, members of the teaching staff, the supporting staff and students of the winning projects, for the effort made to raise the level of students and attention to practical training in addition to the academic effort made.

The first place in the local competition in the category of paper journalism projects was won by “Demagh Tanya” magazine (supervised by Kholoud Khaled), and the first place in the cinema projects was won by “El Dai” project (supervised by Hind Ali).
He won second place in the local competition in the category of Realistic Radio Projects, but (supervised by Mai Zayed).
As for the second place in the Public Relations and Advertising category, the “Abtal Mem” project won (supervised by Dr. Abdulrahman Elsamni).
“Al-Qahha” magazine (supervised by Heba Tahtawy) won second place in the African competition for the paper journalism category.
As for the Arab competition in the radio category, it won third place in the category of Radio Al-Ta’m Project (supervised by Mai Zayed).
It is worth noting that Dr. Engy Fathi, supervisor of projects of the Radio and Television Division, and Dr. Maha Al-Mallah, Projects Supervisor of the Press Division, and Dr. Nada Mounir, Project Supervisor of the Public Relations and Advertising Division
