Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Students, announces the results of the major theater festival

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, announced the results of the (Grand) Theatrical Acting Festival at Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs for Student Activities, Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharkawi, Director General of Youth Welfare, Mr. Mustafa Issa, Director of the Technical Committee for Youth Welfare, and student Aya Hisham, President of the University Students’ Union.

During his meeting with the winning students at the festival, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud affirmed his constant keenness to meet with talented students, to support and listen to them.

He also conducted an open friendly dialogue with the students, during which he talked about the rules for choosing the university for the work participating in international festivals, to represent the university in honorable way, through which it can win prizes and raise the university's name high, based on a good preparation plan, giving an example of the university choir team (Spirit of the East) who was able to From reaching the world, the result of the efforts and continuous support of the university administration, which relied on deliberate steps from an experienced team.

   
   

His Excellency also touched on the achievements that the university witnessed in all fields, which were based on a plan drawn up with his participation in drafting, including the university’s obtaining five stars in the QS classification of universities, in addition to the developments witnessed by the university cities sector, and the previous years witnessed a significant increase in Preparing students to participate in student activities.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud added that the university provides all means of support for its students and all facilities to enable them to practice student activities, regardless of obtaining awards, believing that students’ practice of student activities refines their personality and enables them to practice their hobby and invest their energies, pointing out that the education sector and students will bear The cost of renting theaters at the university for theater groups in all faculties to carry out the necessary training, and it was announced that the activity (acting) would be added to the activities of the Quality Services Center (Kayan) in the Faculty of Specific Education, in addition to music and playing.

Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud praised the performances presented by the students during the festival, and praised the formation of a team of ten faculties at the university to present an outstanding show, which represents a new vision for university theatrical work.

   
   

During the meeting, which was dominated by the spirit of fatherhood, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud invited the winning students to a lunch at the university campus, as a gift from his Excellency.

It is worth mentioning that 12 theatrical performances participated in the competition, and the prizes were as follows:

Playwriting Awards:

Drama “Tourj and Went” award for “Tourj El Baka for the Strongest” drama by Ahmed El Gohary
