The Faculty of Archeology begins receiving new students and receiving their papers starting from today

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hussam Tantawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and its Vice Dean for Student Affairs, announced the dates for receiving students and receiving their papers in preparation for starting the internal coordination work. In alphabetical order.

Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, the acting dean of the faculty, stated that the internal coordination conditions stipulate that the students are distributed equally among the departments/programs of the faculty, after deducting the number of students enrolled in distinguished programs from the total number of students applying for enrollment in the faculty according to the wishs (where the student fills out a wishs form with the number of departments/programs of the faculty in which he arranges his wishs) and the preference is for the highest degree in the total.

In the event that the first wish is not fulfilled, the second or third wish is taken into account...and so on. In the event of equality in the total, the highest degree in the first foreign language is taken when bifurcation. His Excellency emphasized that the inter-programs, namely the restoration and maintenance of the architectural heritage, the archaeological and heritage information systems, and the vital monuments of the faculty are accepted only by the scientific departments, and the study in them is in the English language.

   
   

Mr. Hossam Hosni, Acting Secretary of the Faculty, indicated that the documents required to apply are the nomination card issued by the Coordination Office + 5 copies of it, the original birth certificate + 5 copies of it, the original high school certificate stamped with the eagle seal + 5 copies of it, the application for admission (disbursed from Faculty), 6 personal photos with the student’s name written in quadrant and the national number on the back in a clear font, the national ID card + 3 photos of it, photos of the guardian’s national ID card with his phone number written on it, 2 soldiers card for male students, Corona Virus (COVID-19) vaccination certificate Plastic document folder.

Ms. Somaya Abdel Aal, Director of the Department of Education, stressed the need for each student to adhere to the time specified in the announced schedule in order to organize work and reduce crowding, taking into account the precautionary measures, and each student must withdraw the application file, complete and review his papers, and then go to Hall 171 in the college to conduct the examination. The medical center, and those who did not receive any vaccination dose should go to Ain Shams University Hospitals, Heart Academy (fifth floor), the main center for vaccinations, which works all days of the week from nine in the morning until seven in the evening; To receive the vaccination and obtain what is useful to submit for a medical examination.

After completing the medical examination and paying the expenses, he goes back to the college; To hand over the file after carefully writing the internal formatting wishes.
