under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at the university, the Graduate School of Environmental Research at Ain Shams University hosts the international expert, Dr. Wael Al-Rayes, Director of the Center for Public Health and Development, University of Nebraska, to give a lecture on environmental risks and epidemics, as part of the workshop activities that will be held on August 1, at the faculty; this was stated by Prof. Dr. Noha Samir, Dean of the Faculty.
Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty, added that this comes within the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research with specialized centers in the United States.
Noting that the workshop includes several axes, including the role of the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in enhancing national and international preparedness for specific pathogens and the prospects for modern international cooperation in ways to manage environmental risks and health disasters, especially epidemics.
