Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research, honored Prof. Dr. Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa, Professor of Preventive Medicine, Epidemiology and Medical and Applied Statistics at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Childhood, was awarded the Faculty Shield, during the activities of the Faculty Board session, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Howayda Al-Gebali, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, faculty staff, heads of departments and board members: Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, former President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ehab Eid, Head of the Medical Studies Department, Prof. Dr. Zakaria El-Desouky, Head of Media Department, Prof. M. Dr. Hoda Mohamed Jamal, Head of the Department of Respiratory Studies, Prof. Dr. Amr Abdullah Nahla, Prof. Dr. Fayza Youssef Abdel Meguid, Prof. Dr. Hayam Nazif, the former dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Adopt behind.
During the honoring, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, with a career as Prof. Dr. Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa, who is full of effort and generosity, and his participation in the university's statistical projects, adding that older professors and researchers are the most generous, hoping that senior researchers will set an example for other young researchers.
And he called for there to be separate prizes for giving at the humanitarian, scientific and administrative levels, separately so that those who give will be honored with what deserves to be honored.
During her speech, Prof. Dr. Howayda Al-Gebali is pleased and grateful for the attention and support given by Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh to the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, praising the march of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Salah and praised his scientific and humanitarian career.
She explained that the honor is a small part of gratitude towards his continuous generous giving.
It is noteworthy that A. Dr.. Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa, Professor of Preventive Medicine, Epidemiology and Medical and Applied Statistics at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, graduated in 1966 from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University and was appointed as a teaching assistant in Assiut Medicine in 1967. Community and family medicine for three years at the College of Medicine at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, and a consultant medical epidemiologist at the Research Center at the same college after returning from the United States of America.
He also participated as an epidemiological consultant for the epidemiology unit of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization and the Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean in Cairo.
