The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, the Vice-Deans, and the faculty staff meet the new students of the faculty

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, and deputies and faculty members received the new students from the three divisions of Arabic, English, and French, where the Dean of the Faculty welcomed them and congratulated them all on the occasion of the start of the new academic year, he was keen to encourage and urge them to adhere to university values ​​and ethics in their dress and behavior inside and outside the university campus, stressing at the same time the need to respect their professors and benefit as much as they can from the abundance of their knowledge.

He also stressed the importance of students benefiting from the services provided by the Department of Youth Welfare at the college to enhance their skills and develop their various talents in the fields of sports, artistic, scientific, cultural, and mobile activities.

In another context, the Dean of the faculty recommended his sons and daughters from the faculty students to stay away from the private tutoring centers scattered around the university and others because of the distortion and misleading of the student’s mentality by these centers, explaining that the faculty spares no effort in providing reinforcement groups in most of the courses in which he teaches A selection of faculty members and their assistants who are known for their efficiency and experience, without prejudice to the outcomes and quality of the educational process.

He highlighted the effective role of the student support units in facilitating the study and solving their most important problems, such as the Student Rights Unit, Academic Support, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, and the Solidarity Fund.

         
   
         

The Dean of the Faculty accompanied the new students in receiving the new students, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Shafei, the Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, who highlighted the importance of students’ integration in the various activities offered by the Youth Welfare Department within the framework of the faculty administration’s keenness to build the personality of its students in a balanced manner that allows By acquiring various legal experiences, as well as providing them with various cultural, sports and technical skills.

He added that the educational electronic platform allows them to have discussions with faculty staff and their assistants to answer their weekly inquiries about the courses they study.

These meetings were attended by Prof. Dr. Yassin Al-Shazly, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dahoum, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Attar, Director of the English Division, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Waer, Head of the Islamic Sharia Department at the Faculty, and Dr. Shahinaz Atlam, teacher in the Department of Public Law and Assistant Teacher Nada El-Gamal.

Dr. Hussein Mahrous, Head of Student Rights and Academic Support Unit, and Dr. Nora Issa, Assistant Director of the French Division, and Dr. Doaa Hamed Abu Talib, Assistant Director of the English Division, separately presented a brief presentation of the content of the courses in the three divisions.

Dr. Ahmed Fathi Khalifa, Director of the International Cooperation Unit at the faculty, highlighted the need for students to develop their skills by practicing extra-curricular activities and participating in international competitions offered and organized by the college at the regional and international levels, such as the Oxford University competition and others.
