The President of Ain Shams University witnesses the celebration of the Faculty of Al-Alsun with the graduation of a new batch

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, attended the graduation ceremony of the class of 2021-2022 in the Faculty, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Al-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, former President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, director of alumni associations at the university, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, former deans and vice deans of the Faculty, a group of faculty staff and students in the Faculty.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, congratulated the students on their graduation ceremony, which coincides with the anniversary of the October victories and the Prophet’s birthday.

Also Dr. El-Meteini thanked and saluteed the Board of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, which includes His Excellency Minister Mohamed Al-Orabi, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, stressing that he is considered a great addition to the Faculty and a. The president of the university also congratulated the families of the graduates on this important day, which is a harvest of four years of effort, thanking them for their confidence in Ain Shams University and for choosing it, stressing that Ain Shams University has an ancient name appreciated in Egypt, the Arab region and the world, and called the graduates to be proud of their university and your faculty and to become ambassadors of the university anywhere inside or outside Egypt.

By the noble Qur’anic verse, “And say work, then God will see your work, His Messenger and the believers.” Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, gave her speech, stressing her happiness at attending the Faculty’s graduates' ceremony for the year 2022/2023, which represents the end of the university study stage and the harvest of the efforts of previous years during the spread of a global pandemic that changed the features of humanity, noting that despite these harsh conditions, the Faculty moved in all directions. With great support from the university, it was able to deal with the crisis and sought development and progress in light of the vision of the university and the Egyptian state and the goals of sustainable development. She added that the Faculty has also taken steps at the level of international cooperation, as many agreements and memoranda of understanding have been concluded in the framework of the exchange of professors and students and joint programs with various universities around the world, the most important of which is cooperation with a university in Germany, a university in Spain, another in Portugal, three universities in Japan, a university in South Korea and three universities in China. Dr. Salwa Rashad emphasized the Faculty’s interest in qualifying its students for the labor market through their field training and holding cooperation protocols with various governmental and private training and employment agencies such as the National Center for Translation, the State Information Service and private companies, and dealing with the Arabic Translation Department of the United Nations at its headquarters in New York and Geneva, and also through the Graduates Follow-up and Guidance Unit The Faculty career in cooperation with the Alumni Association and the University Career Center, and so through career forums.
