The harvest of Ain Shams University development convoy for Halayeb and Shalateen within the presidential initiative "Dignified Life"

Ain Shams University's comprehensive development convoy for the Red Sea Governorate succeeded over its five days in serving the citizens in the cities of Halayeb, Shalateen and Abu Ramad in the Red Sea Governorate, within the framework of the presidential initiative, a decent life, and under the auspices of Major General staff officer Dr. Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Southern Military Region.

As the number of beneficiaries of the free medical service reached 2579 citizens, medical examinations were signed on them in the orthopedic clinics, cardiology, chest, internal medicine, endoscopy, urology, children, general surgery, dental, ophthalmology, neurology, ear, nose and throat, and psychiatric and neurological clinics. In addition to conducting medical analyzes and dispensing medicines free of charge to 2,500 beneficiaries of the Caravan Pharmacy, as well as transferring 72 cases to receive free treatment at Ain Shams University Hospitals in Cairo, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and under the supervision of a general. Dr. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tarek Youssef, Deputy Executive Director of University Hospitals, Ain Shams University, administrative supervision and the presence of a. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

The work of the convoy also included distributing 8000 food aid bags to citizens, containing basic supplies of rice, oil, pasta, lentils, tea, sugar, salt, sauce, beans and flour.

He also benefited from literacy and adult education classes, in coordination with the General Authority for Adult Education, 10 learners, whom the Department of Adult Education in Shalateen conducted placement tests for them.

         
   
         

The convoy included organizing a number of awareness campaigns for the international lecturer and trainer, Dr. Tariq Abdel-Fattah on autumn and winter diseases and ways to prevent them, bullying, social responsibility, the program of the art of dealing with patients, and another campaign on drug abuse, its causes and effects, methods of prevention and treatment, and the phenomenon of traditional and electronic school violence. About 300 citizens and their families of various groups benefited from these awareness campaigns. and ages.

It is noteworthy that this convoy is the seventh launched by Ain Shams University to serve the people of the cities of Halayeb, Shalateen and Abu Ramad, as part of a series of comprehensive development convoys organized by the university for the various governorates of the Republic within the framework of the presidential initiative A decent life, within the framework of the presidential initiative A decent life and to achieve the goals of sustainable development and the vision of Egypt 2030.
