Seminar at the Faculty of Archeology on the importance of early breast cancer screening

The Environmental and Community Service Projects Department of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University, within its cultural program for the academic year 2022-2023, organized a seminar entitled: The importance of early breast cancer screening in cooperation with Baheya Hospital, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shawki, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Archeology for Postgraduate Studies and Research and supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and under the supervision of Dr. Sawsan Essa, supervisor of the Environmental Projects Department, and her assistant, Dr. Rasha the inspector, director of the department.

         
   
         

The symposium was attended by a large number of students and faculty staff and members of the faculty, and they listened to a full explanation from Professor Nesma Ashraf (public relations), and Dr. Mai Alaa (surgeon) from Baheya Hospital for all the services provided by the hospital and the importance of early examination and how to support those who contracted the disease Moral and psychological support that allows her to overcome the difficult stages of treatment. The attendees also shared guidance cards explaining the steps of self-examination, the appropriate dates for this, and the signs that when they feel it, they must rush to the doctor and seek help.
