The Middle East Research and Future Studies Center held the second lectures of the educational course "The ABCs of Politics and Law", hosted by the prestigious Faculty of Arts, where Dr. Shahinaz Atlam, public law lecturer at the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Karim Wali El Din, Public Law lecturer, Faculty of Law.
Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts, welcomed the attendees and the Middle East Research Center, and expressed her happiness for the Faculty of Arts’ hosting of the first symposium of the educational session “The ABCs of Politics and Law” and expressed her best wishes for the Center’s continued prosperity and progress.
Dr. Hatem Al-Abed, opened the symposium, welcome to the lecturers and attendees, then the speech was addressed by Dr. Shahinaz Atlam, where she reviewed the pillars and types of the state, the concept of sovereignty, both internal and external, as well as the definition of the constitution, its importance and its main provisions.
This was followed by a speech by Dr. Karim Wali Al-Din, where he dealt with the method of practicing governance with its various systems, and the relationship between authorities, especially the executive and the legislative.
After the lecture ended, the discussion was opened to the attending students and their inquiries were answered, then Dr. Hatem Al-Abed presenting certificates of honor to the lecturers in appreciation of their outstanding effort, as well as to Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel for Karim, for her cooperation and hosting of the educational session in the Faculty of Arts.
