The seminar entitled Early Warning of Weather and Climate Risks and Climate Changes at the Faculty of Girls

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Dr. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in cooperation with the Department of Geography at the faculty, the Department of Geography Symposium entitled Early Warning of Weather and Climate Risks and Climate Changes by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Issa.

His Excellency presented a number of important axes: a presentation to describe the elements of weather and extremism to study the current and future forecast, highlighting the different types of weather hazards, and talking about the negative impact of wind and the difference between what is meant by humidity and falling rain and the risks of high and low temperatures, he explained the tasks of the Meteorological Forecasting Center to issue early warning Disasters, then extremism in weather phenomena prevailing in Egypt, in addition to highlighting the impact of rising temperatures on the effect of greenhouse gases and solar radiation and a presentation of their impact on global warming.

Then he talked about ocean currents, prediction, and volcanoes, explained the concept of feedback, presented the future development of the Sahara through the green belt, and finally highlighted the role of climate impact on the environment.

The professor was honored and handed over the certificate by the Head of the Geography Department: Prof. Dr. Seham Hashem.
