Within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to educate young people about national affiliation and a sense of their responsibility to preserve and defend their homeland so that it would indeed be the country's true wealth, a family for Central Egypt organized a symposium entitled "Youth and Strengthening National Belonging" under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs for Student Activities, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hatem Rabie, pioneer of the family. The symposium hosted Major General Nasr Salem, professor of strategic sciences, former head of the reconnaissance body, and artist Tarek El-Desouky.
Dr. Hatem Rabie, the leader of a family for Central Egypt, started his speech, by pointing out that Egypt was subjected to a fierce attack by the terrorist group with rumors, incitement, incitement of lies, and attempts to destabilize national security, stressing that Egypt will continue to raise its flags, as it is the canna of God in his land and Egypt is greater than the hatred of haters.
Where Major General Nasr Salem reviewed the political changes in the world and Egypt following the Sykes-Picot Agreement, the First and Second World Wars, and even the October 1973 war, stressing that Egypt is in bondage to Judgment Day, pointing to the attempts that Egypt has been subjected to since the new millennium in order to pressure it to undermine its lands. This continues to the present time and the exploitation of external forces by some elements from within to achieve their goals, pointing to the attempts aimed at changing Egyptian lands since 2004.
He praised what the Egyptian state had begun in rebuilding the Sinai with people and turning it into an attractive land for the population.
Major General Nasr Salem also referred to the deterrence strategy pursued by Egypt to defend its land by possessing modern, advanced and diversified weapons to protect its national security.
Major General Nasr Salem concluded his speech by clarifying that Egypt’s use of foreign investments has security limits for debts that do not exceed a certain limit of national income, and loans are all for productive projects to increase national income. Compared to the United States of America, its debts exceed 100% of its national income, and China has deposited in America in the billions. Everyone is assured that Egypt is taking a path for investment, progress, and the preservation of national security.
The artist, Tariq El-Desouky, expressed his happiness at his presence at Ain Shams University, explaining that he is one of the sons of the Faculty of Commerce at the university, and added that the mention of Egypt in the Qur’an, the Bible, and the Torah was not a coincidence, as the Lord Almighty appeared on its land and our master Yusuf occupied its treasuries, and the Holy Family fled to it, including the Mother of the Arabs Hagar, Mrs. Maria and the wife of our master Muhammad and the mother of his son Ibrahim, stressing that all this was not a coincidence, as Egypt is an exceptional country and a great people, pointing to everything related to art, theatre, writing, architecture, medicine, astronomy and other sciences that began and were known in Egypt, and it has preserved Egypt's identity over thousands of years.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Hatem Rabie thanked Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, for his continuous support to a family for Egypt. Major General Nasr Salem, professor of strategic sciences, former head of the reconnaissance body, and artist Tarek El Desouky were also honored.
