Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shawki, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, organized the Department of Archeology and Excavations headed by Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, Head of the Department, Workshop on first aid and preventive maintenance for second-year and master's students in the Department of Archeology and Excavations under the supervision of Dr. Eman Nabil is a first aid teacher.
The workshop included a session on practical training for students on the use of modern environmental monitoring devices. It also included a session on scientific methods for packaging and transporting antiquities and studying packaging materials and ways to use them. The workshop concluded its effectiveness by training students practically on ways to deal with and transport antiquities, design transport packages and preserve antiquities.
