A better life through foods rich in antioxidants... A symposium at the Faculty of Pharmacy

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rola Milad Labib, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in the Faculty organized the second symposium of the cultural season program entitled "A Better Life Through Foods Rich in Antioxidants", delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud El-Tabei El-Shazly, Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University.

The symposium included the role of natural antioxidants that exist in abundance around us in preventing diabetes, pressure, and Alzheimer’s diseases, including ginger, colored pepper, white honey, and foods rich in vitamin A such as cod liver oil, as well as garlic, onions, broccoli, and spinach.

The symposium was attended by a number of faculty staff, teaching assistants, and the faculty's administrators.
