The President of Ain Shams University issues a decision to form the Higher Committee for Student Union Elections for the current academic year

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, issued a decision to form the Higher Committee to supervise the elections of the university’s student unions for the academic year 2022/2023, which are scheduled to begin as of next Thursday, corresponding to November 24, 2022.

The committee was formed under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and General Supervisor of Elections, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Abdel Moneim Rady, professor at the Faculty of Commerce and the committee's liaison officer, and prof. Reham Al-Atifi, who is managing the work of the Assistant Secretary of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Acting Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Malik, Director General of Legal Affairs, and students, Mustafa Mahmoud Al-Sayed, fourth year, Faculty of Law, and student director Ismail Bakr, third year, Faculty of Commerce.

It is scheduled that the door for candidacy, withdrawal, and submission of forms will be opened at nine o’clock in the morning on Thursday, corresponding to the 24th of next November, and the preliminary lists will be announced on Sunday, November 27th, followed by receiving and examining appeals over a period of two days, then announcing the final lists on Wednesday, corresponding to November 30th. The first round of elections in the various faculties of the university begins on the fourth of December, and the committee secretaries and their assistants are elected at the Faculty level on the sixth of December. On the eighth of December 2022.

It is worth noting that the elections are being held for the third year in a row at the headquarters of the Supreme Elections Committee in University City for students.
