The Faculty of Archeology at Ain Shams University held a workshop entitled " Plant Greens…Reap its fruits", under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Hossam Tantawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and its Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Al-Shawki, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Archeology for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector. The workshop was organized by Dr. Sawsan Essa, supervisor of the Environment and Community Service Projects Department of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Faculty of Archeology, with Dr. Rasha the inspector, Director of the Department, and in cooperation with the team of the (I plant with your hands) initiative.
The symposium was attended by a number of students and members of the faculty, including members of the faculty and staff, and listened to a full explanation from: Mrs. Samaa El-Ashry - Mrs. Wafa Waheed - Mrs. Asmaa Al-Baroudi, the founders of the “Cultivate by yourself” initiative, where they conducted a practical workshop with the audience by introducing the basics and characteristics of home cultivation for beginners (tools - seeds - planting steps - plant care) and introducing the most important plants that help purify the air and have a greater ability to absorb carbon.
