The Center for Middle East Research and Future Studies held the second seminar of the educational courses, "The ABCs of Politics and Law," hosted by the Faculty of Computers and Information Science, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Najwa Lutfi Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Science, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Mustafa Abdel Qader, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hatem El-Abd, Director of the Center.
The lecture began with Prof. Dr. Najwa Badr welcoming Dr. Hatem Al-Abd, Director of the Center, and the attendees, where she praised the Center's initiative to move to the various faculties of the university to spread political and legal awareness among the university youth base by a group of senior professors of politics and law specialists, which comes within the framework of the Middle East Research Center's keenness to raise the level of public awareness among the youth masses.
After finishing her speech, Dr. Al-Abd presented a certificate of honor to Prof. Dr. Najwa Badr, in appreciation for her hosting the course and her fruitful contribution to its success.
After that, Prof. Dr. Hatem Al-Abd emphasized the importance of these educational courses to inform young people of their rights and their duties and responsibilities towards their society and country.
At the end of the lecture, the discussion was opened in front of the students present and all their questions and inquiries were answered.
