Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the higher committee formed to supervise the elections of the Student Union of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. HananKamel, Acting Dean of the Faculty, announced the results of the election of the Student Union Council for the academic year 2022/2023 AD.

Prof.HananKamel confirmed that the elections were held according to the schedule for the elections of student unions in faculties for the academic year 2022/2023, and the elections for committee secretaries and their assistants, as well as for the president and vice president of the union.

The committee included the membership of Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Hassan, a member of the faculty, Mr. Hamdi Abdel-Latif Al-Zaini and Jasser Al-Deeb from Legal Affairs, Ms. Nemat Mohamed Khalifa, Director of the Youth Welfare Department, and non-candidates, Ziyad Mohamed El-Sayed, and Noura Mahmoud Salem.

In her speech during her meeting with the new Student Union Council, Prof. HananKamel congratulated them on this success, stressing that the elections took place in an atmosphere of calm and adherence to the regulations and timetable set in advance. The period of the new Union Council is witnessing greater progress in student activities, to achieve the ultimate goal of continuous work to expand the base of student participation in activities that ensure that every student in the college joins the activity that he prefers and achieves excellence and competition at the university level and in local and Arab events.

Prof. HananKamel said that the elections resulted in the victory of the student Helmy Ahmed Helmy, the position of president of the college students' union, and the victory of the student WalaaTayseer Abdel Hafeez, vice president of the union.

The Dean of the Faculty also congratulated the student, Abdul Rahman Muhammad, Assistant Secretary of the Faculty's Social Committee, on the occasion of his promotion as Assistant Secretary of the Higher Social Committee of the University Student Union.
