In its periodic meeting, the Council of the Faculty of Law recommends the establishment of five scientific awards for distinguished students and researchers

Yesterday noon, the Faculty Council held its regular monthly session chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, the Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of Vice-Deans, heads of departments, members of the Council, and Chancellor Ahmed Saad El-Din, First Deputy of the Council of Representatives, and a member of the Council from abroad.

The council discussed many issues, including preparation for the first semester exams that will start at the beginning of next month, postgraduate studies and research, community service, and faculty staff and their assistants.

The Council also approved the establishment of five scientific awards, funded by faculty professors, to be distributed annually to researchers and outstanding students. It is as follows: Prof. Dr. Hamdi Abdel Rahman’s award for the best doctoral dissertation with the amount of 25,000 pounds and Prof. Dr. Jamil Abdel-Baqi’s award for the first student at the postgraduate diploma level amount of 15,000 pounds, And Prof. Dr. Ahmed Qesmat Al-Jeddawi’s prize for the first student in the French section, amounting to 10,000 pounds, And Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sobhi Al-Attar’s prize for the first student in the English section, with the amount of 10,000 pounds. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Lotfy’s prize for the first student in the Arabic section is 10,000 pounds.
