Meeting of the Applied Research Committee in the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector

Yesterday, Monday, December 12, 2022, the Applied Research Committee of the Community and Environment Affairs Sector, Ain Shams University, met to discuss, study and fund ongoing applied research from the previous year. It is required to complete its financing for the second year of the fiscal year 2022/2023 from the university budget, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, headed by Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir Zaki, rapporteur of the committee, and membership of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Community and Environmental Affairs, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Halim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community and Environmental Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rola Milad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Community and Environmental Affairs, Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environment Affairs, Mr. Tariq Amer, Director General of the General Department of Environmental Projects and the Secretariat of the Committee, Mr. Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, Director of the Project Implementation Follow-up Department, and Mrs. Ashjan Abdel Moneim.

Where the committee reviewed the applied research required to be funded for a second year in the light of the technical and financial reports for each research, the committee concluded that the funding of (19) continuous applied research was continued in accordance with the rules and criteria for selecting applied research.
