Ain Shams University students visit the Egyptian Airborne Corps in Anshas

Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Popular Defense Forces, organized a student visit to the Egyptian Airborne Corps in Anshas. The visit comes within a series of field visits organized by the education sector and students at Ain Shams University to consolidate the values of loyalty and belonging and instill the spirit of patriotism among male and female students, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Colonel Ahmed Negm, Director of the Military Education Department at the University, and Professor Amr Essam, General Coordinator of the Military Education Department.

       
 
       

And through the guidance of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud stressed the importance of the youth’s coexistence with the diversity of the visits organized by the university to the military units, praising the role of the armed forces in protecting the nation’s capabilities and keenness to instill true national values in the hearts of young people to build the integrated personality of the university student and deepen the national affiliation among students by watching what is achieved on the homeland of work and achievements.

       
   
       

Today's activities began with receiving the university delegation, listening to a lecture on the emergence and development of parachute units, and organizing a visit to the historical hall, which includes the heroism and sacrifices of paratroopers during the wars waged by Egypt.

During the visit, the students inspected the free jumping segments, to inform them of the capabilities of the Egyptian Special Forces and their constant readiness to face all the challenges and dangers that the homeland may face.

 

They also watched a number of different training activities carried out by the parachute champions, which included training in close martial arts and self-defense. The visit also included watching the air column room, the basic jumping pavilion and the air assault training field, and they carried out fitness queues according to the different ages and physical abilities.

At the end of the visit, the students thanked the armed forces for their efforts and perspiration to maintain the security of the homeland, praising what they saw of the high combat capabilities possessed by the paratroopers.

The students expressed their great happiness at attending these camps, which contribute to raising morale and developing their military culture, and learning about the combat capabilities of the fighters of the parachute units, declaring their desire to fulfill the dream and honor of belonging to the Egyptian Armed Forces in the future.
