The President of Ain Shams University meets the Iraqi ambassador at the Zafaran Palace

Yesterday morning Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, met Ambassador Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and his accompanying delegation, at the headquarters of the Zafaran Palace, the meeting was witnessed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Sherawat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Expatriate Administration at the University.

         
   
         

The meeting came within the framework of joint cooperation between the two sides, where the Iraqi ambassador expressed his thanks and gratitude to Ain Shams University for its pioneering role in the field of higher education and scientific research, appreciating its academic role and its prestigious international reputation, internationally ranked among the world's major universities.

As Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini pointed out the depth of the diplomatic and civilized relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing that Egypt is the heart of the Arab world and the big sister and that it spares no effort in playing its pivotal role in all parts of the Arab world, especially in the field of university education, and His Excellency expressed the appreciation of the Egyptian state and Ain Shams University for the brotherly country and people of Iraq, the owner of Mesopotamia civilization.

         
   
         

For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud confirmed that Ain Shams University plays a leading role in spreading science and culture in various countries of the world, especially the sister Arab countries, which take Egyptian universities, especially Ain Shams University, as a destination for acquiring science and knowledge in various fields, pointing out that Ain Shams University is a destination for students from many countries, including the sister Arab countries, which makes it always keen to overcome all difficulties in front of its expatriate children. He pointed out that the university is not only limited to providing academic and scientific care for its expatriate children, but rather the university offers, through university cities, a safe alternative for them, in a way that compensates them for the feeling of alienation from their families and their homelands, and he also stressed that the university is keen to expand the base of participation in student activities among students. Egyptians and their fellow expatriates.

And Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh reviewed ways of cooperation between the two sides in the fields of scientific research, exchange of professors and students, and other partnerships that enrich cooperation between the two sides, especially since both brotherly countries have distinctive cultural, cultural, and intellectual features.

         
   
         

And Prof. Dr. Sherawat Al-Ahmadi discusses the efforts of Ain Shams University and the administration of expatriates in caring for students and overcoming all obstacles, in order to help them pass the university study stage easily and smoothly.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini gifted the shield of the university to His Excellency the Ambassador of Iraq and the book " Zafaran Palace", and His Excellency, in turn, presented the shield of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq and the book "Iraq Civilization of Life".
