Ain Shams University students achieved advanced positions in the speedball competitions during their participation in the 50th session of the Martyr Al-Refai Championship, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and general supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs for student activities and supervision of Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, who is in charge of facilitating the work of the Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Captain Muhammad Hassan, Director of the Sports Activity Department.
Where the student Youssef Nasr, at the Faculty of Engineering, won the second place and the silver medal in the individual competitions, and the student Yahya Khaled, at the Faculty of Engineering, achieved the third place and the bronze medal in the solo competition, and the Ain Shams University team achieved the third place and the bronze medal in the relay competition.
It is noteworthy that Ain Shams University is keen to participate annually in this major tournament, in which 18 Egyptian universities participate.
