The governor of Qena inspects the work of the comprehensive development convoy of Ain Shams University to serve the people of the village of Qalamina

This morning, Major General Pilot Staff Officer Ashraf Al-Dawdy, Governor of Qena, made an inspection tour inside the headquarters of the comprehensive development convoy of Ain Shams University in the Family Medicine Unit in the village of Al-Qalamina, the Endowment Center. He was received by Mr. Suhail Hamza, Secretary General of Ain Shams University, Assistant for Community Service and Environmental Development.

During the tour, Major General Ashraf El-Dawdy appreciated the efforts of Ain Shams University, headed and sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini in the field of community service by launching comprehensive development convoys to all parts of the Republic, especially Upper Egypt, and within the framework of the presidential initiative "A Decent Life".

For his part, Mr. Suhail Hamza reviewed the axes covered by the convoy, pointing out that the Community and Environmental Service Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Sector Affairs, is keen to organize and launch comprehensive convoys to serve citizens in a number of fields, including the medical axis through clinics that provide free examinations for citizens in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine headed by Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine through the clinics of internal medicine, ophthalmology, chest, children, ear, and nose, bones, skin, brain and nerves, heart, gynecology, as well as nursing services such as measuring pressure and sugar in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing, in addition to performing minor surgeries at Qena General Hospital in cooperation with Ain Shams University Hospitals, headed by Prof. Dr. Tariq Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and dispensing medicines for free from the Caravan Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy.

This is in addition to providing medical and rehabilitative services for people with special needs, in cooperation with the Graduate School of Childhood Studies.

He added that the convoy also provides illiteracy eradication services and holds writing papers for those wishing to obtain a certificate of freedom from illiteracy in cooperation with the Center for Adult Education at the university headed by Prof. Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, in addition to the axis of the awareness campaigns presented by the international coach, Tariq Abdel-Fattah.

It is noteworthy that the comprehensive development convoy of Ain Shams University in Qena continues until December 29.
