The Faculty of Law participated in the national qualifiers for the Arab Moot Court Competition held in the State of Kuwait, through the Zoom application, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dahoum, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Ahmed Fathi Khalifa, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Supervisor of Moot Court Competitions at the Faculty. The team was trained by Hadeer Muhammad Ghattas, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Public International Law, and Hazem Fathi Khudairi, Teaching Assistant at the Department of Public International Law at the Faculty.
The faculty team included the student, Yasmine Muhammad Al-Sharqawi; in her fourth year in the English Division, and student Zainab Ahmed Abdel-Hadi; in her third year in the Arabic Division, and student Kamal Ashraf Kamal; in her second year in the English Division, and student Taher Mahmoud Abbas; In the second division of the Arab division.
Participation in this regional competition comes within the framework of the full sponsorship and encouragement provided by the faculty administration for competitions, events, and student activities, believing in the great importance of these activities in forming a generation of graduates who are well aware of the skills and requirements of the labor market, in addition to a strong upbringing from the scientific point of view.
