The first semester exams for the first batch of students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ain Shams University, were concluded for students enrolled in the first academic level, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, And under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Khafaji, General Supervisor of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
Prof. Ahmed Khafaji, General Supervisor of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, explained that the number of Faculty students reached 126 male and female students, and the Faculty administration was keen to apply electronic automation systems in addition to activating hybrid education systems that combine face-to-face learning and e-learning, in accordance with the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities issued in this matter is supported by the Department of Education and Student Development at Ain Shams University through its online platform (Asu2Learn).
Prof. Khafaji added that the measurement and evaluation unit in the Faculty has been equipped with the latest capabilities, electronic correction programs (Remark), and question banks (Correct). A team was trained and the first semester exams were extracted from Correct, and the correction was done with Remark programs.
He thanked the faculty staff for their great efforts during the last period to be a strong start for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Atef Mohamed Kamel, the supervisor of the establishment of the Department of Wildlife and Zoos, and Prof. Khaled Mohamed Salah El-Din, the supervisor of the establishment of the Department of Medicine of Animal
And infectious diseases, and Prof. Hamza Mohamed Ibrahim, the supervisor of the establishment of the Department of Bacteria, Immunity, and Fungi, and Dr. Saeed Kamal Aboul Gheit Mohamed, Director of the Measurement, Evaluation, and E-Learning Unit.
It is noteworthy that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is one of the new faculties at Ain Shams University to join the list of new faculties at the university during the past few years, including the Faculties of Media and Mass Comunication and Archeology.
