Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, received members of the Board of Directors of the Center for Middle East Research and Future Studies.
The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the new formation of the session No. (56) was held at the Zaafaran Palace, headed by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, Dr. Hatem Al-Abd, Director of the Center and the membership of: Ambassador / Mohamed Al-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ambassador / Ezzat Saad, Executive Director of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, Prof. Hanan Metwally, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University, Prof. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Graduate Studies and Research, at Ain Shams University; Prof. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business for Graduate Studies and Research, at Ain Shams University.
Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Affairs and Environmental Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, greeted the members of the Board of Directors and praised the honorable history of their leadership. Also, she thanked Dr. Hatem Al-Abd, Director of the Center for his outstanding performance and his fruitful efforts to advance the Center and achieve its goals and work on its development.
Dr. Hatem Al-Abd, Director of the Center, expressed his great pleasure and gratitude for the inclusion of His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Al-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Ambassador Ezzat Saad, Executive Director of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs; Then he reviewed the development plan that he initiated since his Excellency took over the management of the center and what has been achieved thereof. The Council briefed on the latest developments and events.
