Prof. Dr. Hussein Essa chairs a session of the China-Africa Cooperation Conference representing the University

Prof. Dr. Hussein Essa, chairman of the Plan and Budget Committee at the House of Representatives and former head of Ain Shams University, presided the first session of the China-Africa Cooperation Conference, with 34 countries including Egypt, Ethiopia, Senegal, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, Cameroon, Djibouti, Burkina Faso, Britain, Norway and China.

Prof. Dr. Hussain Essa has been admitted to Ain Shams University of African Studies in China on behalf of Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, to be Ain Shams University as a founding member of the Union and representative of the Egyptian and Arab universities.

The first session of the China-Africa Cooperation Conference, which is represented by the Center for African Studies in China, is witnessing wide interest from the Chinese government, with the aim of broadening the base of cooperation and building a course for the development of future relations with African countries. This is within the framework of coordination between the Belt and Road Initiative and the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda African Development Strategy and the African Development Strategies.

 

The conference will also receive a wide range of media attention from various media outlets.

It is worth mentioning that this cooperation opens the possibility of joint research between China and Africa on the Silk Road in various economic, logistic, medical, engineering, academic, research and other fields
