Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, honored the distinguished group of male and female students who participated on behalf of the faculty in the JESSUP International Mock Trial Competition, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University and Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
The team won third place at the level of universities in Egypt, and the team consisted of each of the students: Rozan Zain, Roaa Hisham, Hala Shatat, Youssef Ahmed, Basil Shalabi, and they are students in the English section of the faculty, and the team was coached by Hania Hisham, Adham Amr, and Saif Allah Sabri Al-Samalouti.
The student Youssef Ahmed, in fourth year of the faculty, won first place as the best pleader among the participants.
The selection of the participating team was in the name of the university and their coaches and their work since last October under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Fathi Khalifa, Director of the Faculty's International Cooperation Office.
These activities come within the framework of the vision of the faculty administration and its serious endeavor towards developing the educational process in a way that ensures linking theoretical studies in the faculty with practical reality on the one hand, and in a way, that enhances students' skills to make them qualified for the labor market after graduation.
