The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University organized the first running marathon, which was held on the sidelines of the launch of the Ain Shams Innovate Competition, which was held at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University (iHub), and the coordination of the students of ASU-iClub Student Activity Project and the General Administration of Youth Welfare.
This is under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, organization and supervision by Prof. Mohammed Al-Buhairi, Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Dr. Islam Adly, Director of Activities at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Professor Muhammad Al-Sharkawi, Director of the Youth Welfare Department at the University.
The daY it combined the entertainment and educational aspect and spread a beautiful spirit among the university students, which aims to crown the efforts of the students participating in the innovation competitions in the various faculties of Ain Shams University. For all students to renew their creative and innovative energies, as the day witnessed several activities, including a sprint race between more than 12 teams of Ain Shams University students, where male and female students competed for two full hours, so that three teams at the male level and three teams at the female level could win the first three positions for each track And the first place was won by the students of the BioTech Team at the Faculty of Agriculture, which consisted of the student Ziyad Ahmed, the student Ahmed Abdel-Rahman, the student Ahmed Zaghloul and the student Youssef Al-Alfi, and the students of the M & N team () at the Faculty of Medicine, Commerce, Arts and Specific Education, which consisted of the students Manar Magdi, the student Mai Ahmed and the student Nancy Muhammad and student Nouran Gamal won the first place.
The volunteer students who contributed to the success of the various activities of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center were also honored, including the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Camp, which was held during the mid-year vacation, and the Industry Conference, which was held in cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin, as well as honoring the innovative geniuses who won innovation competitions at the faculties of Ain Shams University. In which 14 colleges from the faculties of Ain Shams University participated and qualified for the Ain Shams Innovations Competition in its new season.
A group of workshops on innovation and entrepreneurship were also held, which were presented by Banque Misr and MindShift MENA, where students of all scientific and theoretical disciplines had a wonderful experience for a broader and deeper understanding of the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, how to find innovative ideas and solutions to various societal problems, and how to transform these Ideas for viable and competitive projects.
