Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Sahar Mousa Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Prof. Rasha Khafagy, Director of the Quality Assurance Center at the University, received the reviewers of the National Authority for Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation, headed by Prof. Safaa Abdel Hamid and the membership of Prof. Naglaa Abdel Mawgoud, Prof. Ghada Abdel Rahman, Prof. Esmat Mohamed Abdel-Qawi, and attended this meeting Dr. Nematallah Guma'a, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Nursing, and Prof. Samah Faisal, the visit coordinator.
Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, confirmed that the university administration is keen to keep pace with the standards of quality and excellence and to implement a culture of quality in educational institutions, in line with Egypt's vision 2030 in applying higher education quality standards.
Prof. Ayman Saleh explained that the university applies quality systems in the health sector in an integrated manner, including all its specializations and faculties.
While Prof. Rasha Khafagy said that the aim of the visit is to renew the accreditation of the College of Nursing by the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation for the third time in a row, which confirms the establishment of internal quality assurance systems in the College of Nursing in particular and at Ain Shams University in general for a long time, and she also praised the university's provision of the college. Support in the field of replacing and developing infrastructure, technology, virtual learning, and support for creativity and innovation in the college.
As explained by Prof. Sahar Mousa, Dean of the Faculty, that the faculty has a distinct educational, research, community and technological structure.
The reviewers' team conducted an inspection tour of the academic lectures, student activities, the various college units, nursing laboratories and practical training places in hospitals within the activities of the field visit for accreditation.
