Within the celebration of the Egyptian woman and the ideal mother, the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit at Ain Shams University conducted an awareness campaign for students to know the importance and objectives of the unit in preserving the protection of female and male students from bullying, harassment and psychological harm, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Executive Director of the Women’s Support Unit, organized a team from the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit of specialists and social and psychological volunteers to carry out an awareness campaign about the unit’s goals, the services provided, and what are the strategic mechanisms used and provided by the university to male and female students through the Anti-Violence Unit through protection, psychological support and capacity development Female students, faculty members, and workers as part of empowering women within the national strategy for empowerment and Egypt's vision 2030, as part of Ain Shams University's celebration of Egyptian women and the ideal mother, which was held for three consecutive days in the conference hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University.
The unit provides many services, such as training courses, to develop the capabilities of female students in all fields, such as entrepreneurship, leadership, governance, overcoming crises, and self-defense when they are exposed to harm inside or outside the university campus.
