The UAE Attaché for Education and Technology Sciences hosted by Ain Shams University

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, received Sheikh Dr. Ammar bin Nasser Al-Mualla, Attache of Education and Technology Sciences for the UAE in Cairo, and Mr. Butti Al-Shamsi and the accompanying delegation.

The meeting was witnessed by Prof. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, Prof. Howayda Al-Gebali, Dean of the Graduate School of Childhood Studies, Prof. Randa Kamal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Ahmed Al-Kahki, Director of the Center for People with Special Needs at the Faculty, Prof. Manal Omar, Head of the Psychiatry Unit and Professor in the Medical Department, Prof. Rana Al-Hilali, Director of the Center for People with Disabilities, and Dr. Sarah Ali, Assistant Lecturer in the Medical Department.

During the visit, Sheikh Dr. Ammar bin Nasser Al-Mualla, attaché of education and technology sciences for the UAE in Cairo, handed over a donation check from an Emirati philanthropist for a large amount of money to Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, in order to support the Center for the Care of People with Special Needs at the university.

         
   
         

The donation comes as an initiative of the UAE Education and Technology Attaché in Cairo, in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and within the framework of supporting the center to continue providing the necessary services for people with special needs at the university.

During the meeting, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, the Egyptian-Emirati relations, which are governed by cultural and historical ties extending over the years, and expressed the full support of Ain Shams University for all its students from different countries of the world.

Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, emphasized the strengthening of joint cooperation relations with the corresponding universities in the UAE, and work to solve the problems and obstacles facing foreign students while studying at Ain Shams University, whether at the undergraduate level or the postgraduate level at the university, and discussing appropriate mechanisms to eliminate Overcoming these obstacles and attracting more students to study at Ain Shams University, His Excellency referred to the mixing of Ain Shams University students with foreign students by holding many events such as the Festival of Peoples' Cultures, in addition to the six Ain Shams University choirs in which Egyptian students and students of other nationalities mix.

         
   
         

For his part, the Attache of Education and Technology Sciences of the UAE in Cairo expressed the appreciation and gratitude of the UAE side to Ain Shams University, which has a prestigious international and academic reputation, and which is a destination for every science student from all over the world, pointing out that Ain Shams University has scientific and research specializations that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market locally and internationally.

A presentation was also presented by the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood to explain the services that are provided to children with special needs and how to rehabilitate the child and educate his family on how to deal with him in all the problems they face.

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini and Sheikh Dr. Ammar bin Nasser Al-Mualla, and the delegation accompanying them, visited the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood and the Center for the Care of People with Special Needs in the faculty.
