Online… A symposium on "Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology and Job Opportunities Related to this Science" at the Faculty of Pharmacy

Within the framework of a series of “Meet our Alumni” seminars held by the Faculty of Pharmacy during the academic year 2022/2023, which aims to enrich the knowledge experiences of faculty staff and students and to qualify students for the labor market in light of the presence of many new fields of work, the Faculty of Pharmacy held a seminar via the Google meet application on " Quantitative clinical pharmacology and related career opportunities.

This is under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of Alumni Administration at the University.

And under the supervision of Prof. Maha Nasr, Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Director of the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The presentation was made by Dr. Ahmed Abbas Suleiman, head of the modeling and simulation unit at Sanofi in Germany, and a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, at Ain Shams University in 2007, in the presence of a number of faculty staff, students, and graduates of the faculty.

The symposium included an introduction to modeling and simulation, the methods used for that, and their applications in the clinical development of drugs, especially for the treatment of cancer and immunological diseases. The symposium also dealt with various job opportunities related to this science.
