The activities of the "Qualifying for the IELTS Test" workshop, organized by the Scholarship Welfare Office at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Postgraduate Studies Sector at the Faculty of Nursing and the British Council, have ended, under the supervision of Prof. Sahar Moussa, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Siham Gerges, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the University's Scholarship Welfare Office.
The workshop started with a speech delivered by Prof. Sahar Musa, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, on the importance of exam preparation as one of the important requirements for applying for scholarships to study abroad.
After that, Dr. Abdullah Sami discussed the different types of missions and grants offered by the state and the test rate for each of them. Then, His Excellency presented the various services provided by the University's Scholarship Welfare Office at the various stages of the scholarship.
After that, the lecture of Mr. Samer Fadel, Director of Business Development at the British Council, began. During his lecture, he gave an explanation of the various sources and test services provided by the Cultural Council, the method and strategies for preparing for the test, the different centers that offer the test, the method of booking, the advisory services provided by the Cultural Council, the test methods, and the different steps of the test in its four parts.
The workshop comes within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to qualify the faculty staff and their assistants at the university for international representation at all levels of education and scientific research and to enhance the role of the graduate studies and research sector at the Faculty of Nursing in developing the skills of students and researchers and improving language and research skills that allow graduates to represent the university in all countries the world.
In the end, Dr. Abdullah Sami indicated that the next workshop will be at the headquarters of the Faculty of Girls, and the final time for this workshop will be announced within days.
