The theatrical show "The Great Writer Uncle Ibrahim" at the Faculty of Girls’ Theater, amid praise from art stars

Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Student Activities. The "Criticism and Drama" team at the university presented the theatrical show "The Great Writer, Uncle Ibrahim" at the Faculty of Girls’ Theater, Where the show witnessed the presence of elite stars of art and culture, including the artistic producer, Dr. Medhat El-Adl and the Jordanian poet Mr. Musa Al-Hawamdi and journalist critic Dr. Reda Attia and Dr. Mohamed Al-Khatib, Professor at the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University.

The audience praised the show's ingenuity and craftsmanship, which is comparable to professional work, and the students' distinguished efforts in acting, decoration, lighting, clothing, and directing, stressing the pioneering role of Ain Shams University, which has become known to it in graduating batches of distinguished emerging artists in the field of theater and music.

         
   
         

In this context, Prof. Abdul Fattah Saoud expressed his happiness and appreciation for the opinions of the attendees from the specialists in the technical field, stressing that this is the result of a tireless, organized effort and strategy taken by the education sector and students headed by His Excellency, which is to support and develop the skills and talents of university students in all scientific, artistic, cultural and sports fields.

Added that the university administration spared no effort in developing the infrastructure at the highest level, as all university theaters were developed at a level comparable to major theaters, and the best-specialized trainers were provided, each in their field, to qualify the university students to appear in an honorable and decent manner on behalf of the ancient Ain Shams University and to represent it in all local forums and to win the first places in various competitions to dedicate to our dear homeland, Egypt, youth capable of giving with love and creativity in all fields.

The show's events symbolically revolve around "the low level of public taste in the artistic and literary field in the whole world, but at the end of the show, hope is born in a young child who desires to be a space scientist who is always given hope for a better future."

         
   
         
         
   
         

The theatrical show was written by author Mr. Muhammad Adel, and directed by the student: Muhammad Essam Al-Shahed, the decoration was designed by Mahmoud Salah Biro, the decoration was implemented by the student Basant Mahmoud, the clothes were implemented by Hana Al-Najdi, lighting by Basil Mamdouh, the design of masks was implemented by Rana Shamel, makeup by Matthias, performances by Ahmed Adel Archimedes, assistant director Jumana Nasser and Youssef Ahmed, and executive directors Muhammad Fawzy and Fadi Raafat.

A number of students from the Department of Criticism and Drama at the Faculty of Arts acted. The student Ephraim Kamel Malak played the role of the teacher, the student Radwa Sharif played the role of Zahra, and the student Hadeer Muhammad played the role of Zohra.

The student Omar Tariq presented the role of Al-Hadra, and the student Abdul Rahman Ahmed presented the role of "Tariq Al-Attar".

It is worth noting that all the students participating in the show were from the various years of the Faculty of Arts, and the show was produced by the university.

The show was also attended by the University Student Union Council headed by the student Muhammad Reda, and the Secretary of the Technical Committee, the student Ziyad Siddiq.

Preparation for the show came under the supervision of Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, who is in charge of the university’s assistant secretary for education and student affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare and Mr. Mustafa Issa, Director of the Technical Activity Department, and Mr. Ahmed Adel, supervisor of artistic activity and responsible of the theater.
