Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and in a joyful Ramadan atmosphere, the activities of the second Ramadan round of the university, organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare and the Family of Students for Egypt, began at Ain Shams University. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud kicked off the opening match of the round and expressed his pride and appreciation for the students of Ain Shams University in general, the students of " for Egypt family", and the students of the student unions in particular for their activity and effort that all other universities envy them for.
His Excellency thanked also Prof. Hatem Rabea, pioneer of "for Egypt family" at the university, for his honorable efforts during his assumption of the leadership of the family. He also congratulated Mr. Tarik Ahmed for assuming the position of Acting Director of the Youth Welfare Department at the university, wishing him success. His Eminence also thanked Mr. Mohamed Al-Sharkawy, the former Director of Youth Welfare, for his efforts during the previous years, wishing him success.
Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud praised the hosting of the Faculty of Engineering for the beginning of the Ramadan round on its stadiums, thanking Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ahmed Munib Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Technical and Technological Education.
His Excellency also praised the great student turnout for participation, as participated in the five-a-side football competitions (265) students, table tennis (64) students and table tennis (32) girls, which will last from the sixth of April until the eighteenth. From this April, at the University City Stadium, the Faculty of Business Stadium, and the Faculty of Engineering Stadium. The prize for the first place is 6,000 pounds, the second place is 5,200 pounds, and the third place is 4,000 pounds.
Dr. Saoud, praised the efforts of the General Administration of Youth and Family Welfare for Central Egypt and all those in charge of organizing and preparing the course that is held on the stadiums of the various faculties of the university, wishing all the participating teams success, asking them to show sportsmanship.
