The Faculty of Law holds its council and organizes its annual Iftar at the Air Defense House

The Council of the Faculty of Law held its periodic meeting at the Air Defense House, followed by a large breakfast party attended by members of the Council, employees of the Faculty and its guests, more than (300) of its employees, the Director of the Police Academy, the President of the Egyptian Judges Club, and the First Undersecretary of the House of Representatives.

The ceremony was held under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and was honored by the attendance of Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Counselor Mohamed Abdel Mohsen, Vice President of the Court of Cassation and President of the Egyptian Judges Club, Major General Dr. Hani Abul-Makarem, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of the Police Academy, Counselor Ahmed Saad El-Din, First Deputy of the House of Representatives and member of the College Council, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Refaat, President of Beni Suef University, former Egyptian Ambassador to UNESCO, member of the Law Sector Committee, and current President of the Egyptian Society of International Law, Prof. Nabil Helmy, former dean of the Faculty of Law, Zagazig University, member of the Law Sector Committee, member of the Higher Committee for Legislative Reform, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Prof. Hossam Tantawi, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, and Counselor Dr. Fahr Abdel-Azim, President of the Court of Appeal.

The faculty council had discussed the its preparations to receive the team of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation set for the first working day after Eid Al-Fitr, and the faculty's participation in the university conference to be held next May with a session on the topic of legal aspects of transferring members.

The Council also agreed to accept some donations for some educational purposes and to support the College's Social Solidarity Fund, to register some doctoral theses, and to form committees to judge a number of them.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the College, and the Vice Deans, extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this joyous ceremony, especially the officials of the Air Defense House.
