Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and for the second week in a row, the activities of the second Ramadan session of the university continue, which are organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare and the Family of Students for Egypt at Ain Shams University, with the honorable hosting of Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Prof. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, to host the opening and closing session at the Faculty of Engineering stadium.
Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, kicked off the Ramadan session, praising the high turnout of students, and thanking those in charge of it, stressing the need to show sportsmanship.
(256) teams participated in the five-a-side football competitions for male students, (64) male students for table tennis, and (32) female students for female students.
The Ramadan session had started on the sixth of April, and the final competition will be held next Monday, the seventeenth of April, at the Faculty of Engineering stadium. The value of the first place prize is 6,000 pounds, the second place is 5,200 pounds, and the third place is 4,000 pounds.
This is under the supervision of Prof. Hatem Rabih, a pioneer of the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University, Mr. Tariq Ahmed Acting Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, Mrs. Mahitab Magdi, Director of the Department of Families and Student Unions, Dr. Sameh Awad Allah, a professor in the Department of Information at the Faculty of Childhood, with the participation of Medfor Egypt.
