Within the framework of the cultural season of Ain Shams University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, and the Education and Student Affairs Sector, in cooperation with the National Council for Women, Cairo Branch, are organizing a symposium entitled "Rejection of Violence and the Role of Women in Society and the Family", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in the Hall Major celebrations at the Faculty of Pharmacy, at exactly twelve-thirty in the afternoon.
The symposium was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Jehan Ragab, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Commerce and Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and alternate rapporteur at the National Council, Cairo Branch, and Prof. Dr. Amani Hanafi, Professor of Arabic Music at the Faculty of Specific Education and former Dean of the Faculty and member of the National Council for Women, Cairo Branch, and supervised by Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, Acting Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs and Student Organization for Family for Central Egypt.
The symposium will be hosted by Prof. Dr. Fathi Al-Sharqawi, Professor of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts and former Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, Counselor Alaa El-Shimi, Undersecretary of the Human Rights, Women and Children Sector at the Ministry of Justice, and Prof. Dr. Abla Hanafi, Professor of Art Psychology at the Faculty of Art Education, former Vice President of Helwan University, and distinguished artist, Tamer Farag.
