The activities of the second scientific conference of anti-violence units at Ain Shams University, entitled "The Population Issue: Women Influencing and Affected"

During the activities of the eleventh annual international conference of Ain Shams University under the title "Knowledge Economy... for a Better Life", and under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Executive Director of the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit, at Ain Shams University, held a session entitled "The Population Issue: Women Influencing and Affected"

         
   
         

The session was chaired by Prof. Jihan Rajab, Professor of Marketing and Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Hatem Rabie, Head of the Department of European Civilization, at the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University, and pioneer of the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University, Prof. Abd Al-Masih Semaan Abd Al-Masih, Rapporteur of the Environment Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture and former agent of the Faculty of Environmental Studies and Research, at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ahmed Magdy Hegazy, Rapporteur of the Sociology and Philosophy Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, and Dean of the Faculty of Arts, at Cairo University.

         
   
         

Prof. Fayrouz Mahmoud coordinated the session of the Supreme Council of Culture, and Prof. Hatem Rabie, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Culture, opened the session and showed the countries of the Supreme Council of Culture in supporting science and culture within Egyptian society. The session was moderated by Prof. Jihan Rajab, and included the speech of each of:

Prof. Abdel-Masih Semaan, Rapporteur of the Environment Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture and former vice-dean of the Faculty of Environmental Studies and Research, at Ain Shams University, spoke about "Women and their role in protecting the environment."

         
   
         

Prof. Adly Anis Suleiman, Professor of Geography at Cairo University, gave a lecture on "Women and Society Peace from a Geographical Perspective"

Prof. Fatima Abdullah, the former vice-dean of the Institute of Social Work, Fayoum University, spoke about "Women and their societal roles", Prof. Amal Shams, Professor of Sociology at Ain Shams University, spoke about "Youth's View of Family Characteristics: Between Popular Proverbs and Contemporary Changes."

And Prof. Amal Munib made his interventions on the role of the Arab Women Organization in supporting women in all Arab governments and countries within the Arab country.

In conclusion, Prof. Hind Al-Hilali concluded the session and presented certificates and shields to the speakers from the Supreme Council of Culture, and Prof. Fayrouz Mahmoud coordinated the presentation of student works from students of the Faculty of Girls.
