A memorandum of understanding between the Faculty of Medicine and the Al-Siddiqiyah Foundation for Cultural Services

Yesterday morning, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and Prof. Ali Gomaa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Al-Siddiqiyah Foundation for Cultural and Social Services and former Mufti of the Republic, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the two sides, in the presence of Prof. Tariq Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals and Prof. Samia Abdo, Deputy Executive Director of University Hospitals and Prof. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Hebat Allah Al-Saeed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Hala Sweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development.

         
   
         

On the part of the Al-Siddiqiyah Foundation, each of Mrs. Jihan Zaki, Head of the Programs and Projects Sector, Mr. Abdul Hameed Mansour, member of the Board of Trustees and Secretary General of the Foundation, attended.

The protocol aims to cooperate with the Faculty of Medicine in preparing and coordinating the launch of a number of medical convoys, mobile clinics, campaigns for early detection of diseases, and conducting surgical operations to serve citizens in various parts of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in light of achieving the strategic goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and achieving the state’s plan to improve the life of the Egyptian citizen. And in conjunction with the implementation of general strategies of civil society.

Cooperation between the two sides in accordance with this protocol is valid for a period of five years, subject to renewal.
